Not only as raw and dried plants for foods, but also the plants has been processed as Nori sheet-like product (kai-pane in Lao).\nRecently, this kai-pane processing is expanding to surrounding villages for an important source of money income in the dry season. We reported this kai-pane processing in detail, its modernization/commercialization, and other utilization of kai as foods.
