| 内容記述 | A field survey was conducted in Yunnan province of China, and in northern part of Laos. As a result of the survey, rice bean (Vigna umbellata) was revealed to be the most important legume crop in these areas. Rice bean is popularly cultivated under the shifting cultivation system mixed with upland rice or maize. Ethnic groups in northern Laos have their specific local name for rice bean, suggesting long history of cultivation of this crop. Using newly collected rice bean germplasm accessions from Laos, genetic diversity analysis was conducted by RAPD methodology. The analysis revealed the geographical pattern of genetic differentiation of rice bean in these areas. | |||||
