| 内容記述 | 本研究ではタイ北部におけるモン族のブタ飼育について、飼育頭数、飼育技術、生産と利用の詳細について明らかにすることを目的とした。本研究の結果から次の3 点が明らかとなった。①飼育頭数については各戸別の飼育頭数が明らかとなり、調査村全体において276 頭が飼育されていた。また飼育技術については飼料の詳細が明らかとなった。②生産と利用の詳細については、調査村において2005 年1 年間に113 頭が儀礼および慶事に消費され、他村から19 頭が購入され、他村へ10 頭が販売されていることが明らかとなり、3 年程度で村内のブタは消費され循環していることが推定された。③調査村において2000 年を境に自家において繁殖飼育を行なわなくなり、利用の際には他村から購入するように変化した事例がみられた。このような本研究の結果について、3 つ目の結果の背景には、生業の中心である農耕の変化の影響があり、タイ北部のモン族におけるブタ飼育は、依然として多くの村人が生産と利用に関わりをもち生業として重要であるが、自家での繁殖飼育や飼育技術という生産の面において変化してきている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study was done for the purpose of making clear pig breeding of Hmong (Miao) people in north Thailand, from the aspect that the number of breeding pigs, breeding skill and details of production and utilization. Results of this study are following 3 points. ① The total 276 pigs were breeding in the village in March 2006. And it was made cleared that the number of pigs in each household and details of pig’s feed. ② Villagers consume the total 113 pigs in ritual ceremonies and celebrations through the year 2005. And they were bought the total 19 pigs from other villages and were sold the total 10 pigs to other villages. These results indicate that they consume the pigs in the 3 years cycle approximately. ③ There is a villager who stopped breeding the pigs from the year 2000 and changed to buy pigs for consumption. Then, this kind of recent pig breeding change in this study might be related to the change of the main subsistence that swidden agriculture. |
