| 内容記述 | 本報告では、竹（マイ・パイ・パーンmai phai’ par：bambusa arundiana var.spinosa Retz）を利用する現場を取り上げ、竹筬の商品連鎖でつながる各生産現場（筬作り、筬販売、竹材販売、竹材の伐採）それぞれにおける、人々と竹との関わりについて述べている。 竹筬作りの現場となるのがビエンチャン近郊ノンサヴァン村である。ノンサヴァン村では、筬作りに従事している住人たちについて、それぞれの世帯が担う活動内容や、ノンサヴァンへの移入と技術習得の経緯などを調査し、筬作りを通した住民同士の複雑な関係を記述している。 ノンサヴァン製筬は、おもにビエンチャンの公設市場にある機料店に卸され、市場から市内、地方から来た織物生産者に売られていく。今年度の調査では、市場内の２軒の機料店に2005 年８月から2006 年２月の半年の間、店頭販売された筬の記録付けを依頼した。その事業日誌をもとに、ノンサヴァン製筬の流通や需要動向を紹介している。 竹筬作りに利用されるマイ・パイ・パーン（mai phai’ par：bambusa arundiana var.spinosa Retz）の流通および消費の概況として、ビエンチャン市内にある竹材の集積地と、そこでの竹売買の状況を述べ、さらに都市部にマイ・パイ・パーンを供給する竹の伐採地の状況をまとめている。伐採地については、竹材を竹筏にしてメコン川で運んでくるサントン郡と、陸路で竹材・竹製品を運んでくる13 号線沿道（プーパナン山Phou phanag 付近の）地域とを分けて、伐採地における住民と竹との関わりについて述べている。 マイ・パイ・パーンを伐採・販売する、あるいは加工生産、製品の販売など、それぞれのサイトに見る竹を商品化する営みは、どれもが小規模な経済活動ということができる。その一方で、それらを集積して全体として考えれば、都市がいかにたくさんの竹を多様なルートで入手し、消費しているかがわかる。都市による竹の消費と市場の拡大は、個々のサイトでの人々による対応の多様性そのものを生み出している。 |

| 内容記述 | This report’s focus is the commodity chains of bamboo reed; fuum and commoditization of bamboo in Laos. I explore the relationships between people and the bamboo in each production site, which is connected in the commodity chains of bamboo reed, with using mai phai' par (bambusa arundiana var.spinosa Retz). The bamboo reeds are made in a suburb of Vientiane city, Nonsavang village. About bamboo reed production in Nonsavang, I examine the contents of activity which each household bears, the circumstances of technical acquisition, etc. and describe the complicated relation of dwellers engaged in production of reeds. The Reeds made from Nonsavang, are kept by 4 shops in the public market in Vientiane, and sold to the textile producers who come from in Vientiane and several provinces. In the investigation on the enterprise diaries on reeds selling recorded by 2 shops during half a year in August, 2005 to February, 2006, I describe circulation and the demand trend of reeds from Nonsavang. The conditions of wholesalers bamboo, or the situation of bamboo dealing in Vientiane , circulation of bamboo and the situation of the felling ground of the bamboo is summarized are told us that each business which commercializes the bamboo can be called a small-scale economic activities. On the other hand, if they are accumulated and it thinks as a whole, it is turned out how the city received and consumes many bamboos by various routes. The consumption of a bamboo in the city and the expansion of market have produced the diversity of correspondence by people in each site itself. |
