| 内容記述 | 本稿は、雲南省「県誌」を利用した生態史データベース構築の一環として行っている、人口データベース作成作業の中間報告である。本文の構成は、１）中華人民共和国の人口統計全般についての紹介、２）データベースの作成方法とその進捗情況、３）データベースの問題点と意義、となっている。 結論として、「県誌」を利用した人口データベースには、データの出所の特定、データそのものの信頼性等の面で問題があるものの、雲南省という広域にわたって、県レベルというローカルな単位での人口動態、人口センサスデータ、民族別人口を把握できることがこのデータベースの最大の特徴であることが示された。これは、これまでの統計では知ることの出来なかったデータである。データベースの完成により、ローカルなレベルから地域の生態史を解き明かそうとする本プロジェクトの各研究に対して、必要に応じて人口の基礎データを提供することができるものと考える。 |

| 内容記述 | This is a progress report on population database construction using “County Gazetteer” of Yunnan Province, aimed at providing more localized population data required for the eco-historical studies in our project. The report gives 1) general knowledge about population statistics in P. R. China, 2) method and progress status of the database construction, 3) limitation and significance of the database. It is concluded that although there are some problems in the identification of the data source and reliability of the data itself, the database can be able to provide valuable information such as the population change since 1949, population census results and population by ethnic group, all at the county level all over Yunnan Province. | |||||
