| 内容記述 | 筆者が1988 ～ 1989 年に調査を行ったユーミエン村落PY 村で陸稲耕作に関する追跡調査を行った。この村では1990 年以降焼畑耕作ができなくなり、常畑耕作に移行した。また、世帯構成についても、父系合同家族から核家族への変化が観察される。 これらの変化を、陸稲耕作作業における労働交換について観察した。常畑化は農耕暦の半月ほどの遅れと作業工程の入れ替えをもたらしたが、労働交換には直接的な影響はない。核家族化は労働交換の規模と交換相手に若干の変化をもたらしている。 |

| 内容記述 | The Iu Mien of PY Village (Tambol Romyen, Chiangkham District, Phayao Province) have experienced a change in their dry rice cultivation. The swidden cultivation has not been conducted since 1990 and then they cultivate rice on permanent dry fi elds. On the other hand, Iu Mien household composition has been changed since 1988; the decrease of patrilineal joint families and the increase of nuclear families. The shift towards permanent fi eld cultivation infl uenced their agricultural calendar and the increase of nuclear family households has infl uenced their labour exchange. Some works in swidden were disappeared and other works were introduced. Their agricultural calendar was shifted afterwards in half a month. The increase of nuclear family households resulted in changes of labour exchange; the size of labour exchange per a day was decreased and local ties, rather than kinship and affi ne ties, increased in their labour exchange counterparts. |
